All orders placed before 1pm will be despatched the same day, all orders after 2pm the next working day.

Orders under 1600g or £50 will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class (3-5 days)

Orders over 1600g or £50 and above will be sent via DPD. (24 hours)

No – but there are exceptions. You can use Lavender, Plai, Ravensara and Tea Tree neat on the skin. If you get any allergic reaction wash off immediately.

We do not recommend using essential oils during pregnancy except where the alternative would be pharmaceuticals.

If you have a blend of oils for stress, pain relief for topical application then you can apply liberally as required say, 3 or 4 times a day.

If any allergic reaction occurs then cease use and wash skin, milk helps to take away any irritation – soak a cotton pad in milk and wipe off to ease irritation.

Yes! The Essential Oil Company Ltd. has selected only the finest sources of essential oils to guarantee purity, we have been supplying industry since 1993. All our products are 100% pure, unadulterated, undiluted and wholly derived from named botanical species and known countries of origin. We also source from local growers & distillers in Hampshire wherever possible. Therapeutic and/or Clinical Grade are marketing terms coined by some companies to imply that their oils are superior. If the oil is 100% pure it is going to be therapeutic by nature if it’s from the species and origins recommended for use in clinical aromatherapy and if it’s grown and distilled correctly. Our essential oils are analysed and tested using the following methods and performed by an independent laboratory:-

1. Gas Chromatography 2. Specific Gravity 3. Optical Rotation 4. Refractive Index
5. Organoleptic

All oils are batch numbered for direct traceability to source. It is important to note that essential oils are prone to variations due to geographic location, altitude, climate, season, methods of farming and wild or clonal changes. Should you be dissatisfied with our products in any way, please let us know within 7 days of receipt and return the product in original packaging for a complete refund.

Yes! Please note, if you require lots of Essential Oils (which we bottle on site), please message us before hand so we can get your order ready as we may not have all of your requirements on the shelf. This will save your waiting time in the shop and helps prevent any queuing. Message us at
