About Us

Welcome to our Online Shop.

The Essential Oil Company has been established over 26 years and we are a bricks and mortar company with our shop & ecommerce operation based at Scrapps Hill Farm set in beautiful surroundings in the Hampshire countryside in a peaceful and aromatic environment!

Founded in 1993 by Sue Foley. The Essential Oil Company has built a solid reputation supplying 100% pure essential oils, aromatherapy accessories, parabens free products, and natural health products to qualified aromatherapists, doctors, vets, clinics, hospitals, hospices, colleges, health shops & beauty salons and we now offer a huge range of health, beauty & lifestyle products to the general public. Our oils are quality guaranteed and suitable for therapeutical and clinical applications. We are a member of the Aromatherapy Trade Council.

The Little Barn opened in the summer of 2007 and has given us scope to try lots of goodies that we think you will love! We like to support local business and we also stock local artist such as Stephanie Block, and Summerdown Mint Products - all produced within a 5 mile radius. We have new products coming in all the time and there is so much more in our shop than shown online - so please pay us a visit! We have a new ethical corner in store and a REFILLING station for BioD homecare, Faith in Nature Hair & Bodycare and Epsom, Dead Sea and Himalayan Bath Salts. We also have The Soap Bar and we feature british independent companies who are all cruelty free. All of our products are paraben and SLS free too. We have a range of Vitamins, Mineral and Supplements.

Prior to starting The Essential Oil Company, Sue was Commercial Manager for a large multinational company running four departments with particular emphasis on customer service, purchasing, quality, product management, distribution and on-time delivery. Having worked many years in customer service environments Sue also understands that it is better to under promise and over deliver!

Sue is qualified in Anatomy & Physiology, Body Massage, and Aromatherapy and is passionate about finding effective and affordable drug-free solutions for chronic illness and general well-being and has recently completed a certificate "Get Well - Stay Well" and was taught by Dr. Felicity Corbin-Wheeler of Hippocrates Europe. Sue is also a certified Life Breakthrough Coach and also has completed modules in Cognitive Behavourial Therapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming and has studied many other healing modalities. If you would like a consultation please call or text 07885 633258.

Initially the company focused on products using essential oils to enhance beauty, well-being and ambience which benefit both the body and home/office environment but has branched out into other natural remedies such as epsom salts, CBD, and virgin coconut oil. Having suffered from fibromyalgia since the age of 16 Sue has sought natural remedies which alleviate the symptoms enormously. Symptoms include chronic fatigue, muscle pain and insomnia, and this is where we feel we specialise in treating chronic conditions without pharmaceuticals or that can be used alongside standard medical drugs. Always consult your doctor if on medication before taking any natural remedies.
