Make your own insect repellents & sunburn gels! For repellent use citronella or lemongrass essential oil in a base. Mix 3 drops per 10ml of base - for a quick drying readily absorbed base use our aloe & seaweed gel or moisturising lotion. You can also use any of the vegetable (carrier) oils as a base, jojoba, coconut, apricot, or sunflower are nice & light but will be slightly greasy. Apply liberally to the skin.

For sunburn mix in 2 drops of pure lavender french or english per (teaspoon) 5ml of aloe & seaweed gel - which always stays cool, apply on affected areas.

Take a bottle of tea tree with you for cuts, spots & insect bites. Tea tree can be used neat on the skin (one of the few essential oils which can be used undiluted)
