Tea Tree Oil Kills MRSA Superbug

Tea Tree Oil has been proven to be effective against MRSA superbug as reported by The British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy research. This is one of numerous research reports proving the effectiveness of Tea Tree oil. Click for report

Recent research by Ulster University states that at lower than 4% tea tree could cause superbugs to build up stronger defences. I think this is another smear campaign probably funded by drugs companies. Tea Tree has been proven to kill MRSA at just 5% dilution. They are saying in smaller doses that the bugs build up stronger defences - this may be true - but MRSA is resistant to antibiotics ANYWAY! The superbugs will NEVER be resistant to pure essential oils as their molecular structure is so complex. Most essential oils have between 200 & 800 natural chemical constituents. It is impossible for a virus or bacteria to mutate and adapt to that many chemical constituents - there are too many barriers. Whereas a broad spectrum antiobiotic contains just 1 or 2 active ingredients! A virus can easily mutate and adapt to the drug, making it useless. So maybe low doses could make the superbug try to work harder but then so are all these commercial sprays you buy. Many of them have created the superbug as commercial cleaners may only kill the weak bugs and leaving the stronger to get even stronger. They are saying do not use below 4% - i think it needs to be taken in context of everything else chemical that we use. I certainly would take antibacterial wipes and a bottle of tea tree into hospital with me if having an op or a baby plus i would smother my body with coconut made up with at least 5% dilution of tea tree (unless in pregnancy i would probably omit the tea tree on the body). Prevention is easier than cure and tea tree still kills MRSA at 5% dilution. So in a nutshell MRSA is already a superbug with a high defence mechanism and is resistant to antibiotics. If you don't really need to use tea tree everyday, in shampoos etc. then choose an unfragranced one and use tea tree as it becomes necessary. Certainly using tea tree neat on any cuts or wounds would kill just about anything!
